Dr. Westphal provides his staff with many opportunities to continue their dental education. This winter, he took his staff to the Scottsdale Center of Dentistry in Arizona for a weekend of educational classes. | |
Cheri Witko, Office Manager Cheri graduated from dental assisting school in 1976 from Mid Plains Community College in North Platte. She worked as a dental assistant for about 15 years in Ogallala and moved to the Panhandle in 1991 and started working for Dr. Westphal in 1992. She later became the front office manager and continues to assist patients with scheduling and insurance. She is married and has 3 children and 9 grandchildren. She enjoys walking, golfing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family. One of the things she loves about working here is to see the patients reaction when we do cosmetic dentistry. She likes to see how happy they are when they see the difference in their smile. She likes working with the staff and thinks Dr. Westphal is a very kind, caring boss.

Crystal Stull, Dental Tech & Reception Crystal has been in the dental field since 1988 when she worked for Dr. Westphal when he started in Morrill. Her 3 children and 2 grandchildren keep her busy. She enjoys playing volleyball, riding horses, and 4 wheeling in the mountains. | |
Kay Bohl, Dental Tech Kay began working as a dental tech in 1994. She has worked for Dr. Westphal since 2008. She lives in Gering with her husband and two kids. She enjoys walking, gardening, swimming, spending time with her family, and watching her children grow up. Her favorite things about dentistry are the relationships she continues to develop with the patients, watching the patients' lives change through the work we do and helping to soothe the patients' discomfort. She enjoys working with Dr. Westphal and rest of the staff because they are like a family.

Shannon Dykes, Dental Tech Shannon has been working in the dental field since 2012. She began working for Dr. Westphal in 2013. She lives in Wyoming with her husband and two kids. She enjoys hanging out with her family, cooking, being outdoors, hiking, 4 wheeling, and fishing. Her favorite part about dentistry is meeting new patients and forming relationships with them. She enjoys Dr. Westphal's office because it has a great atmosphere and they make the patients feel like it's a fun, relaxed place.

Melody Franklin, Dental Hygienist Melody graduated from the UNMC College of Dentistry in 1984. She has been a hygienist in the dental field for 30 years. She started working for Dr. Westphal in 1990. She lives in Bridgeport with her husband and they have 3 girls. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She got into dentistry because she likes the sciences, but she stays in it because she really enjoys seeing her patients. She say that she feels like every set of teeth has it's own personality.

Joni Worden, Dental Hygienist Joni graduated from dental school in 1987 from University of Nebraska Dental College. She has been in the dental field for 27 years and has worked for Dr. Westphal for 21 years. She lives in Scottsbluff with her husband. They travel often to watch their two children participate in college athletics. Her favorite part of dentistry is helping people who have a fear of dentistry come to enjoy their regular visits and seeing them have healthy teeth.

Brodee Bewley, Dental Tech Brodee has been working for Dr. Westphal since 2012. She enjoys skiing, being outdoors, and spending summers at the lake with her family. Between her young son and summer hobbies, she stays busy. Her favorite thing about dentistry is the hands on aspect, the way it relates to science and meeting new people.
